High Temperature Resistant Coating to Prevent Corrosion of Steel

Temperature resistant coating enables paints to protect and preserve color and structure at higher temperatures. This product line provides protection for substrates if high operating temperatures compromise the durability and efficiency of other coatings. Protexion offers high temperature resistant coating for protection of steel substrates from a range of temperatures up to 600 ° C.

High-temperature resistant coatings are frequently used in the aerospace, manufacturing, military, petrochemical and power industries for piping, fireproofing, jet engines, offshore rigs, original equipment and various types of plants/facilities that employ high-temperature processes. One of the largest users of industrial temperature resistant coatings is processing facilities such as power plants, petrochemical plants, and refineries. These facilities often have an extensive network of piping, vessels, and tanks that need protection from corrosion.

Applications for Temperature Resistant Coating

Protexion temperature resistant coating solutions are suitable for objects that are exposed to high temperatures, such as pipelines, exhaust pipes, heat shields, stoves, grills and fireplaces chimneys.

Temperature resistant powder coatings

·        Products are ready for assembling and packaging immediately after painting

·        Easy to spray and control film thickness

·        High quality robust finish

Temperature resistant wet paint

·        Easy to spray

·        Very good color retention

·        Fast curing

·        Excellent corrosion protection

When you apply high temperature resistant coating the surface must be clean and dry, free from grease, rust and dirt. Protect adjoining surfaces from overspray. It is possible to shake for at least three minutes before use and occasionally during use. The drying will be slowed down by lower temperatures and high humidity and will influence the amount of gloss. Avoid spraying when air or surface temperature is below 10 C or above 30 C. Apply with several light mist coats, two minutes apart, until desired color is achieved. Let the coating dry for 1 hour. Then expose to high heat for 1 hour. This will harden the coating.
