Zinc rich coating
is a surface coating which mechanically bonded to the steel at few hundred
pounds per square inch. These paints can be brushed or sprayed on to the steel
for cathodic protection. When zinc rich primer spray or brush applying, feed
lines should be kept to prevent settling of zinc dust and film coats. Epoxy zinc rich primer coating can be
applied to steel of any size and shape.

application to produce a homogenous mixture. Zinc rich coating contains 75-90% metallic zinc in the dry film

zinc rich primer paints are applied to a dry film thickness of 2.5 to 4.5
mils. Zinc rich primer powder used in providing corrosion or UV protection in
the coating and paints chemical processes. We stock one grade of zinc primer
powder which is 4-6micron.

coating used independently for corrosion protection, but it should be coated in
unadorned environments to extend service life.
